Angie Lewis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential substance abuse treatment, in-home family therapy, community mental health and private practice. Angie is especially interested in working with dual diagnosis issues, couples therapy and reducing ruminative thinking and cognitive distortions which negatively impact mood, relationships and stress levels.
Angie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa in 1993 and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Iowa in 1996. Angie has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) since 2004: License #00853, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) since 2004, and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) since 1998: Certification number: 040075.
